Tap anywhere on the sand as the ball falls past your player. The height you tap at picks the touch: head, chest, thigh or foot. The icons next to your player light up to show which zone the ball is in, and the ball glows when you're in the perfect window.

After a touch, swipe toward a friend. The game snaps to the friend closest to your swipe. Tap and flick in one motion for a first-time pass, which is worth extra points.

Ginga is your multiplier. It grows when you change touch types, up to ×4. A scrappy touch resets it, three of the same touch in a row cuts it, and a fourth self-touch in a row gets you called a fominha and resets it.

Turn on Settings → Relaxed timing. It slows the ball near you and widens the perfect window.

Earn stars by reaching each beach's score marks in a single rally. The next beach opens once you have enough stars in total and at least one star at the previous beach.

One beach, one crew and one goal, the same for everyone that day. It can take you to beaches you haven't unlocked yet. Clear it on consecutive days to build your streak.

Progress is stored only on your device and in your device backup. Restoring an iCloud or computer backup to the new phone brings it along.

With live conditions on, each beach uses today's real wind and swell from Open-Meteo. Offline or in airplane mode, the game uses each beach's usual breeze.

Your device has a radio on but the conditions couldn't load. Tap Try again, or choose Play with the usual breeze.

Use Settings → Tide of the Day reminder. If notifications were denied earlier, enable them in the iOS Settings app under Notifications → Roda de Altinha.
